According to former ITV2 producer Neville Hendricks, 42-year-old Pete would provoke Katie, 37, with the help of his manager Claire Powell in order to get a reaction.

“Because Katie Price is driven by emotion she is she is easy to wind up and get to react. Peter Andre and Claire Powell used to do this constantly and then stand back and watch the fireworks. Peter Andre would then make out that it was him being attacked, and the victim.”

Singer Pete and former glamour model Katie were married from September 2005 to May 2009 and shared Claire as a manager during that time.

Neville, who produced some of Katie and Pete’s successful reality shows, also suggested that the dad-of-three tried to humiliate his ex-wife by denying any knowledge of her alleged rape.

In 2009 Katie claimed that she’d been assaulted by an unnamed celebrity – and insisted Pete knew who they were.

But he retorted: “I’m really, truly sorry if this is something that happened to Kate in the past, but all I will say is I was not aware of it and it’s not something we ever discussed.”

Neville claims Pete would wind up Katie in order to get a reaction

Neville has blasted these claims. His statement read: “Peter Andre publicly claimed that he and Katie Price had not discussed this issue and that he had no idea what she was talking about but that was not true.”

Pete was called as a witness in the High Court battle between Neville and ITV2, and has said this his claims are ‘irrelevant’ to the case.

“I do not understand how these allegations can be relevant to this dispute… it’s an attempt to drag my name through the mud.”

Katie is not involved in the court case and has yet to comment on the claims.
