David Cameron recently proposed for pornography to be automatically blocked by internet providers unless users have actively opted for filters to be turned off after warning that it is 'corroding childhood.'

Dad of two Peter has said that the PM’s plans are a ‘good idea.’

In his magazine column, the devoted dad of two said that he’s ‘always believed we need some sort of law to protect our children from the internet.'

The 40 year-old said: ‘I definitely agree with the PM's view that the internet has an impact on the innocence of our kids.

I'm petrified of the kids going on the internet. I monitor what they're watching online, so I think what David Cameron is doing is great.’

Peter’s support comes a week after he announced that he is to become a dad to third time with his 23 year-old girlfriend Emily MacDonagh.

The reality TV star – who is already a dad of two from his marriage to Katie Price – said that ‘Emily will make a brilliant mum.’

‘We were going to keep this to ourselves a little bit longer, but as everyone’s been asking I am very happy to tell you that Emily and I are having a baby, and we are over the moon. Emily will make a brilliant mum’, he said.

Peter has previously said on his reality TV show Peter Andre: My Life, that Emily has a way with his children Junior, 8, and 6 year-old Princess.

‘What impresses me the absolute most is the way she is with the kids,’ he said.
