Peter Andre shared a gorgeous video of his pregnant wife, Emily MacDonagh, rubbing her blossoming tummy. In the short clip, Pete asks his lovely wife to “show us your bump” after he encourages other pregnant ladies to take advantage of a free NHS flu jab.
Junior Doctor Emily is spearheading a campaign for Boots about the importance of pregnant women protecting themselves from flu-related complications. The stunning mum-to-be was spreading the word in London over the weekend, looking absolutely glam in a fitted green dress with poker straight ombre locks.
Fans were quick to comment on Pete’s sweet message of support. One wrote: “Very important message thanks you two Emily look radiant oh and you look good to Pete”
And another: "Well done for spreading the word"
Pete and Emily’s second child is due at the end of this year and will join big sister, Amelia, who was born 18 months after the pair married in a lavish country house ceremony.
Speaking about the campaign, Emily said: "Like all mums, I have worried about the health of my baby during this pregnancy and my first, so I understand it can be difficult to know what precautions are the right ones to take.
"However, from my training as a doctor I know that having a flu vaccination during pregnancy is so important for protecting you and your baby from the complications of flu."
Pete has been busy promoting his latest book but has worked hard to help Emily juggle her career with motherhood. Back in April, he told Hello! magazine: “I just want to be a shoulder to her and help her through any difficult times. It's hard for her.
He added: “We do a ‘debrief’ when she comes home and she talks me through what's happened in the day.
“I always try to make sure I've made her a nice dinner so that she comes into a nice, calm environment, where the baby is looked after.”
The new baby will be Pete’s fourth child, after son Junior, 11, and daughter Princess, nine, with ex-wife Katie Price. When the couple announced Emily’s pregnancy back in May, he tweeted a picture of the baby scan and proudly declared: "OMG dad to be AGAIN :))) Brilliant. So so happy."
We hope Emily and bub stay healthy as her pregnancy develops.
