The 41-year-old shares custody of his nine-year-old son and seven-year-old daughter with ex-wife Katie Price, 36, and, as he had them last Christmas, he’ll be missing out this year.
He said: “I don’t have Junior and Princess this Christmas as I had them last year and it’ll be my turn next Christmas, but I’ve still got loads of things planned for New Year. I can’t tell you though – it’s a surprise!”
Pete and fiancée Emily MacDonagh have 11-month-old daughter Amelia together, so at least he’ll have the excitement of her first Christmas.
He told Now: “But I’m really looking forward to the beauty of watching Millie unwrap presses on Christmas Day. It’s just going to be fantastic.”
Former I’m a Celebrity star Pete has recorded a collection of festive songs and he confessed that, while his children love it, they didn’t realise it was him singing at first.
He continued: “I sing the songs with a deeper voice, which I really like.
“The kids love it too. It was really funny because Junior heard one of my songs and I said, ‘Do you know who this is?’ And he said, ‘Yes it’s the big guy who won BGT with the big opera voice, Paul Potts’.
“I said, ‘I love you son. That’s not Paul Potts, that’s Poor Pops!’”
