We’ve seen Peter Andre battle it out in I’m A Celebrity, have three children and go through a pretty nasty divorce with Katie Price. Now, he's revealed that he was once held at knife point due to racial tension.
Peter revealed that he was held at knifepoint during a night out in his native Australia with his friend George twenty years ago.
He told OK!: "“I’ll never forget walking into a nightclub in Sydney with my friend George, twenty years ago.
“We were grabbed and a knife was held to my throat in the bathroom. I was petrified."
Explaining the ordeal, Pete continued: “The guys were like ‘who do you think you are?’ – I thought they were going to kill me. I’ve had many situations like that.
“Growing up there was one of the hardest experiences of my life.
“Most Aussies are awesome and I don’t think that would happen now. I’m talking about a time when the Gold Coast was not multi-cultural.”
Peter Andre confesses he suffered from depression
The father of Junior, 11, Princess, nine, Amelia, two, has also revealed after the death of his brother he suffered from depression.
Peter’s brother Andrew passed away in 2012 at 54-years-old after suffering from kidney cancer. Following his death Andre struggled with his depression and he revealed that Emily found it difficult to be in the house with him.
He even confessed that he thought it was the end of his marriage.
“I’d hit rock bottom, I thought Emily was going to leave me. She was so matter of fact about staying, so I knew straight away that I’d spend the rest of my life with her,” to revealed to OK! Magazine.
Thankfully Emily was supportive and a couple of months ago the pair celebrated their second year anniversary.
Peter has even hinted at baby names he likes for his unborn baby: “I love traditional names like Rose, Elizabeth or Mary. For boys, strong names – James, Arthur, Oscar and Max.”
We can’t wait to meet the new addition to the Andre family.
