Peter is father to Junior, 10, and Princess, 8, who he had in a previous marriage with Katie Price, and Amelia, 2, with wife Emily MacDonagh.
Speaking to new! magazine, Pete said: It's like Junior's got this little attitude now but he's still a gent.
“He actually reminds me a lot of myself at his age.”
Despite Junior’s behaviour, Pete revealed that he finds it hard to be angry at him for doing “silly things” because of their close bond and the fact that he himself acted similarly at that age.
But Peter is still hoping that his children grow up with good morals and wants his little ones to know that he is always there for them.
“Of course I'm a strict parent, but I'm also someone my kids can talk to about anything,” he explained.
“If you instill the right morals in your children, they'll have a much better chance of doing the right thing in the end.”
Peter and Emily’s one-year wedding anniversary is also coming up and the pair are still looking very much in love.
But just last week Pete hit out at ex-wife Katie, as Closer exclusively revealed that he told a friend: “She needs to stop obsessing about me!”
However, the two families seem to have become quite close in recent weeks, with Katie attending Pete’s concert and even planning family breaks away with everyone.
A source told us that Katie is “planning family holidays so the children can bond, plus weekly roast dinners and double dates with Pete and Emily.”
