The star has been vocal in the past about his fiance Emily's choice to breastfeed, and has this week showed his support for a mass breastfeeding protest at Sports Direct in Nottingham - after a woman was thrown out of the store for feeding her child.

About 70 women showed upto the protest, where they peacefully fed their children at the front of the store.

'It's such an amazing thing and it has so many benefits. I think it's good these women stood up for their rights.'

'It's very strange that something so natural can be criticised,' Pete wrote in his New magazine column. 'I know that not everyone can breastfeed and there is nothing wrong with those who can't. But for those who choose to, it's such an amazing thing and it has so many benefits. I think it's good these women stood up for their rights.'

Pete's 24-year-old fiance Emily McDonagh previously spoke of her joy that baby Amelia 'latched on straight away,' but the couple also admitted they hadn't been able to go out for 'more than two hours at a time' because of the feeding schedule.

Peter Andre has three children, two with ex-wife Katie Price - Junior and Princess, and one with his medical student fiance Emily.
