The new father announced that his 23-year-old girlfriend Emily Macdonagh had given birth to a baby girl on Tuesday.
This is the 40-year-old’s third child- he also is father to 8-year-old Junior and Princess, 6, with ex-wife Katie Price, who has also recently given birth. Phew!
The proud father took to Twitter last night to excitedly announce: ‘She’s beautiful :)’, linking to a blog on his website with the pink caption ‘Keep calm because it’s a girl!!’.
The singer also added the mysterious note: ‘Thank you :)) xxmanuxx!!’
What could ‘Manu’ mean? Surely he’s not referring to Manchester United? Could this be a hint at a baby name? The name Manu is an Egyptian baby name meaning ‘born second’… well she is his second daughter.
We may be clutching at straws here but we can’t stand the suspense! Other theories include 'manu' actually refers to the Twitter user who reportedly gave Pete the 'Keep calm' picture he used.
Speaking about baby names, Pete previously said:
‘Biblical names are great, Alexandra… I don’t know, Cleopatra that might be a bit…..
‘Or a regal name, a royal name like Elizabeth or Janet Jackson. She’s royalty to me.
‘The honest advice I’d give is if you haven’t decided on a name is when that beautiful baby is born you’re just going to know, you’re gonna look at her and you’re gonna know.’
