Peter Andre recently revealed that his wife Emily is pregnant.
He share the news with his Instagram fans, posting a photograph of her ultrasound.
He captioned the snap: “OMG dad to be AGAIN :))) Brilliant. So so happy”
It came as a little bit of a surprise that the couple are expecting, as Pete previously said that they were planning to wait a while before giving their daughter Amelia a baby brother or sister.
Speaking to OK! magazine last year, the Mysterious Girl singer explained they planned to try for another baby when Emily finished her first year as a junior doctor in August.
He added: “I’d like to have another baby next year, but you never know what’s going to happen.
“We’ll have to see how Em’s work goes and I’m travelling for my tour next year, and already have a lot going on after that, which I love, but will make it harder."
However it seems as if Pete managed to persuade the young doctor that the time was right!
He told new! magazine: “As you guys all know, I’ve been desperate for another baby for a while and I finally managed to convince Emily the time was right.
“We went for a scan last Thursday morning and I was so overwhelmed with happiness to see our second little one on the screen.
“I’m going to be a dad again! I am absolutely buzzing. Infant we all are. I can’t believe I will be a dad of four!"
The 43-year-old, who is also father to 10-year-old Junior and 8-year-old Princess from his marriage to Katie Price, previously admitted that he sometimes wishes he had starting having children younger.
He explained: “They’d be all grown up and we could travel and backpack together.
“Being a parent is great and I just wish I’d started sooner.
“But I’m obviously so grateful – particularly when little ones still want pancakes on a Saturday!”
