Peter Andre has apparently sought legal advice after Katie Price suggested he cheated on her when they were married.
During a recent question and answer session as part of her Audience With tour, Katie said her marriage to the pop star was like the BBC drama Doctor Foster, in which a woman got revenge on her cheating husband.
Peter is angry Katie would suggest he did anything wrong behind her back and has contacted his lawyers about it, according to The Sun Online.
A source said: “Peter didn’t cheat on Katie and wasn’t happy when she suggested he had during her tour.
“After her comments were made public, Pete got his lawyers involved and Katie was issues with a legal letter. That’s the real reason she tweeted to say sorry.
“Pete never cheated on Katie. He never speaks about her and can’t understand why she just won’t leave him alone.
“She always brings him, or their marriage, up and just wishes he would stop.”
Katie and Peter married in 2005 after meeting on ITV jungle reality show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here but they split in 2009.
However, she insists she never wanted it to be over, telling an audience at her show: “I never wanted it to end. It was all him.”
