Producer Neville is battling it out with the television channel after his contract was ended, claiming loss of earnings.

Mr Justice Flaux has insisted Pete’s evidence against Neville was ‘particularly unreliable’, after he claimed he received death threats.

But Pete, 42, has hit back, insisting he would never lie in court.

In a statement, he said: “I am extremely disappointed that Mr Justice Flaux didn’t accept some of my evidence but all I can say is that I was telling the truth and would never have misled the court in this important matter.”

Neville launched the case against ITV2 after his contract to produce reality TV shows for Pete and Kerry Katona was cancelled.

Around the same time, in 2011, Neville’s relationship with Pete’s manager Claire Powell ended, and the singer alleged that they’d both received threats.

However Mr Justice Flaux said: “I completely disbelieve Mr Andre’s evidence about the alleged death threats.

“I have concluded that this evidence has been made up by Mr Andre. I do not consider that either Mr Andre or Miss Powell felt genuinely threatened by Mr Hendricks.”

The judge ruled that the termination of Neville’s contract had been a ‘repudiator breach’ of agreement, meaning they could have to pay ‘substantial damages’.
