Speaking as a witness at the High Court earlier today, the 42-year-old claimed that he felt “physically threatened” after his manager Claire Powell allegedly received death threats from ex TV producer Neville Hendricks.

"Neville Hendricks was very aggressive and very threatening. He would say to people I will bury you"

Speaking about a particularly volatile incident in May 2011, Peter Andre explained: “I’d heard him say things before. I knew he could be hot and volatile and cool down afterwards, but this is the first time it felt real.

“Of course we had some good times but that doesn’t take away from the fact that this threat felt different.

“Claire was literally shaking when she was telling me and I believed that threat had been made.”

He added: "I presume he was in a rage when he made these horrific threats. I believe he was in a rage for a long time.

"Neville Hendricks was very aggressive and very threatening. He would say to people I will bury you.

"He also said he would 'get a shovel I am going to bury you' and said he used the phrase 'bury the b***h' many times."

Peter – who is dad to Katie Price's son Junior, 10, and daughter Princess, 8, as well as Emily Macdonagh's seven-month-old daughter Amelia - said that Mr Hendricks began repeatedly posting offensive tweets about him in July that same year.

The police quickly got involved.

“Had nothing or anything been said before, the moment those tweets started, that was a game-changer for me,” he told the court.

“Yes, he’d done the threats and we were hoping they would work things out between them but when he started doing these vile abusive things publicly for anyone to see – and not once did I reply – at that point what I felt was beyond horrific and I could never want to work with that man ever again.”

Mr Hendricks is currently suing ITV2 for £549,060 damages and costs after the broadcaster pulled the plug on a reality series involving Peter and Kerry Katona.

ITV2, however, claims that he was in breach of contract and is claiming £261,951 from his Mr H TV Ltd.

The hearing continues.
