Happily married couple Peter and Emily Andre have opened up about how they manage to maintain a healthy relationship – and say a booze ban is crucial
In a not-so-thinly veiled dig at Peter’s ex-wife Katie Price, 29-year-old medic Emily said that the couple’s alcohol-free lifestyle helps to keep harmony in the home.
“Neither of us drinks alcohol,” she told OK! Magazine. “I think drinking can sometimes cause rows.”
“We’ve been together for six and half years, and whilst we’re out of the honeymoon phase, we still enjoy quality time together.”
“It’s very rare one of us isn’t at home with the kids – that’s important to us,” she added.
"We have the same values, and we instill those values in the kids. We’re both very calm and laid back and we have a really relaxed family atmosphere.”

“Our relationship gets better every day,” said Pete. “Emily saves lives at work, and then comes home and is amazing with the kids.
“Her work is so much more important than mine could ever be,” he gushed.
The comments come during aturbulent time for Katie, who has recently spent time in rehab and been arrested on drink driving charges.

There are apparently currently four kids living at the Andre family home, after Pete’s eldest children – Junior, 13, and Princess, 11, who he shares with Katie – came to live with him at the start of the summer.
They’re also parents to four-year-old Amelia and one-year-old Theo.
