Pete Bennett stole the nation’s heart in 2006 when his romance with Nikki Graheme played out on Big Brother. We all watched as the unlikely pair fell in love, and were equally as devasted when their relationship ended shortly after leaving the reality TV show.
Although he took the £100,000 prize money and went on to form a band, he soon disappeared from the spotlight and was faced with various hardships such as becoming homeless and struggling with a drug addiction.
But now Pete, who went on to win the 7th show, has moved on from the demons in his past and has decided to take his career in a very different direction.
And it actually sounds like something we would be willing to pay for!
Pete has created a cleaning company with a twist – called ‘Celebriclean’, the venture will see celebrities cleaning people’s homes! Although the cost of a celebrity washing your windows will be far more expensive than an everyday cleaner, Pete says that it’ll be a great way for out-of-work celebs to earn some money, and for people to get their cleaning done a little bit differently.
“I don’t mind getting my hands dirty and I’ll do any sort of cleaning job,” Pete told The Daily Star.
“I think other celebrities will definitely come on board because there are a lot who need money between the work. It’ll be a good laugh!”
Getting a celebrity to clean your home will set you back £100 an hour, but Pete has promised that it’s not a gimmick.
“It’s definitely a novel way of getting a cleaner in but it’s not a gimmick, I will definitely clean their homes – I’m pretty good at it,”
We hope it all goes well for you, Pete!
