She’s had more than her fair share of experience when it comes to heartbreak in the public eye, and now it’s been revealed Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has been helping Perrie Edwards after her own love split.

Litte Mix singer Perrie, 22, split from fiancé Zayn Malik last year following a three-year romance, and has turned to X Factor judge Cheryl, 32, for advice.

Speaking to The Sun: “Cheryl is incredible. She has been a very good friend to me, particularly recently.

“She is the nicest person in the world. She knows what we’ve gone through and has great advice.”

Perrie also revealed she and her band mates recently enjoyed a night out with Cheryl and her fellow former Girls Aloud singers Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts.

She continued: “It was a lot of fun and one of those nights where all the girls just wanted to let their hair down.”

And it looks like it wasn’t a one-off: Perrie added: “Nicola was saying we should all have a girlie night at Cheryl’s, have something a bit more low-key.”

While Perrie seems to finally be moving on from former One Direction star Zayn, 23, it’s been alleged Cheryl is currently going through her second divorce.

Last week Closer reported Cheryl is getting through the rumoured split with a lot of help from her friends – and in particular ex-boyfriend, and Kimberley’s brother, Adam Walsh.

The pair caught up at 34-year-old Kimberley’s wedding in Barbados last month, and Cheryl is said to be keen not to step on the toes of 31-year-old Adam’s girlfriend, Hollyoaks actress Twinnie-Lee Moore.

A source told us: “Cheryl knows that Adam is with Twinnie and is very happy for him. However, spending time with him has helped her realise she shouldn’t wallow over her break-up.

“They had a big heart-to-heart, and he told her that she was way better than any of the men she’s dated. Cheryl enjoyed the holiday and it certainly boosted her confidence – she’s been reminded that she’s a tough cookie underneath.”
