The British athlete will be donning sequins and skates instead of spikes, but who is she?
Who is she?
Perri is a British track and field athlete who competed in the 400m sprint and 400m hurdles.
She was part of the team to win a gold medal in the 4x400m Indoor Championships in 2012. On top of that she's won silver and bronze medals in the same event.
She's also the 2013 European Indoor 400m Champion. Go girl.
What was her injury?
Sadly, though, an injury to her knee at the 2013 World Championships meant that Perri had to change events upon her return to athletics.
Instead of competing in the hurdles she decided to stick to flat 400m to give her the best chance of securing medals and staying injury free.
She returned after three years out last year, but is yet to get back to the form that made her such a promising athlete earlier in her career. Hopefully after the grueling task of becoming a skater, Perri will be able to prove her fitness in another discipline and take that back to the track.
What's Perri-Shakes Drayton's Twitter
@shakesdrayton
Perri's been sharing loads of great Dancing on Ice snaps on her Twitter recently. Besides that, there's plenty of Althetics posts and pictures - she hasn't given up the track for the ice rink, Team GB will be happy about that one.
What's Perri got to say about being on Dancing on Ice?
"It is an opportunity and I was told in the past I’d never be able to run again and that was not nice to be told...
"Now the fact my body feels good, I’ve been given a challenge, an opportunity, I’m going to go give it my best shot.
"I came across Kem from Love Island and we saw each other at the ice rink. He saw my skills, I saw his skills... I’m better than him. I’m most excited about the costumes!”
Do you think Perri's athletics past will help her to win the show? Let us know over on Facebook and Twitter.
