Penelope Cruz may be exhausted juggling two gorgeous babies, but the Oscar winning actress has proven to be just as naturally talented at motherhood as she is at acting.

She used to like sleeping for 16 hours at a stretch, but Penelope now gets by on “not even three” hours a night.

But, like most mums, she finds that the time she gets to spend with babies Leonard, 21 months, and Luna, five months, makes it all worthwhile.

“I don’t mind,” she explained to The Mirror.

"It fills you so much it doesn’t matter that you’re always exhausted. It gives you so much happiness. You want to enjoy every second.”

Penelope - who married Javier Bardem in July 2010 - has also revealed that she has cut back on the amount of time she spends on film sets in order to raise her children herself.

"I was going from set to set.

"I was never in my house and I didn't have a life... You need to have time for your own life and as a mother that changes even more.

"Family is the most important thing for me... and if you have children you want to raise them yourself."
