Thomas Cohen, the widower of Bob Geldof's daughter Peaches who died very suddenly following an accidental heroin overdose, has spoken to the Sunday Times Magazine about life since her traumatic death.
Thomas and Peaches shared two children, Phaedra, 3, and Astala, 4, and since Peaches death Thomas described his relationship with his late wife's family as "very close". Since her death in 2014, Thomas has been spotted out with the Geldofs on numerous occasions.
He also told of how he "refused to become a traumatised, grief-stricken single father" and that caring for their children gave him a sense of purpose following her death.
Cohen also said that following her death, he thought "I don't want to stay in this place anymore" but found a release in therapy and transcendental meditation which helped him through his grief-stricken times. Cohen also said of how he found working on his first solo music album "Bloom Forever" a help, as it played a "huge part in his recovery".
In fact, one the songs on the album named "New Morning Comes" was written all about the love and support received by the Geldof family following Peaches' death.
