Peaches Geldof, the daughter of Bob Geldof and the late Paula Yates, has sadly died aged 25.
Many have spoken about how the former wild child – who lost her own mother aged 11 - blossomed after becoming a mother to her two sons Astala and Phaedra, turning away from her previous party lifestyle and relishing her life as a mummy.
Ray Levine, Peaches' former publicist, told Sky News: "It's very, very sad. Peaches has overcome a lot in her childhood, seemed to be getting her life together.
“You hear something like this and words can fail you. It's just tragic, terrible news.
"From a parental point of view, he (Bob Geldof) would have had his frustrations with her over the years, but of late she had really come good.
"She'd matured. Having to deal with the death of your mother at such a young age, with the complicated circumstances surrounding her death, would be difficult for any child, but particularly for someone in the public spotlight.
"But Peaches overcame that. This is the last thing you would have expected to happen to her."
However Dan Wooton, who knew Peaches through his work as showbiz editor of The Sun, told Sky News: "I knew her (Peaches) through work. She was a highly troubled person and obviously someone who dealt with massive tragedy in her life.
"It was something that haunted her life.
"What is particularly tragic and poignant is that the last photo she posted on Twitter was a picture of her and her mother. You do have to wonder where her head was at."
Police were called to her house in Wrotham at 1.35pm after receiving a report of concern for the welfare of a woman.
She was pronounced dead by South East Coast Ambulance Service.
In her last message on Twitter, she posted a picture of her as a child with her mother, who died of a heroin overdose in 2000 when Geldof was 11.
Her husband Tom Cohen said in a statement: "My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons Astala and Phaedra and I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts everyday."
