When Peaches Geldof passed away from a heroin overdose in April last year her family were plunged into grief, with her husband Thomas Cohen left as a single dad to their two sons Astala, 2 , and Phaedra, 1 .

Peaches’ family- including dad Bob Geldof- are reportedly planning to ‘celebrate’ Peaches life as the anniversary of her death approaches, rather than dwell on the tragic circumstances leading up to her passing.

A source told Grazia magazine: "There are no fixed plans as yet but at some point they will all be together.

"Whatever they do, they will do as a family and it will not be a sad day, because this is about celebrating life, celebrating what they have together.”

The source continued, adding that Peaches death had caused the fractured family to unite in their grief.

"The legacy of Paula's death was chaos and disintegration for the Geldof family, but the legacy of Peaches' death has been to bring everyone together.

"It's poetic justice that finally something good should come out of such terrible circumstances.

"It's as if a spell has been broken and so much of that has to do with Peaches' boys, Thomas and the Cohen family. It's as if, through them, Peaches gave them a way to get through it all."

The Geldof family are now committed to helping musician Thomas, 24, raise Peaches’ sons.
