It’s been nearly two years since Hollywood star Paul Walker tragically lost his life in a car crash near his California home.

Daughter Meadow Walker has now paid tribute to her father on what would have been his 42nd birthday.

Sharing a sweet throwback on Instagram, Meadow announced her news with a heartfelt message.

Meadow wrote: “Reflecting on my father, I found myself reflecting on his passions. His passion for the ocean, his passion for rescuing animals, his passion for helping people and his passion for spontaneous goodwill.

"I wanted to start this foundation because I want to share that piece of him with the world.

"I want to share that part of him with others. I am tremendously proud to be launching The#PaulWalkerFoundation (@paulwalkerfdn) on his birthday. I can't think of a better way to celebrate my father. #DoGood.”

Meadow was just 15 when she lost her dad, but the teen is determined to make the most out of his legacy.

Earlier this year the actor’s Fast and Furious co-star Vin Diesel paid tribute to his friend by naming his newborn daughter Pauline after the late star.
