Parkers – the definitive resource for car buying advice in the UK – has partnered Closer to bring you the award for the Best Seven-Seater Car in the prestigious Parkers New Car Awards 2021.
The shortlists have been announced, with the Best Seven-Seater brought to you by Closer being one of a total of 21 awards.
So, if you’re looking to buy or lease one of these capacious family-sized people carriers, you won’t go far wrong with one of these. They all offer seven seats, lots of safety tech to keep your family safe and will drive just as well as any other cutting-edge car. What is interesting it they cover a range of prices to suit many different budgets.
BMW X7
This gargantuan offering is pretty much the last word in luxury, with every conceivable piece of tech you can think of being included. Considering its size – and it seats seven in comfort – it's great to drive, and more economical than you’d expect.
SEAT Tarraco
This seven-seater SUV has been around for a few years, but the latest updates and keen pricing keep it at the head of its class. For those who enjoy driving, this is a high-riding option that remains a great steer.
Volvo XC90
The gorgeous-looking SUV comes with a number of engine options, most notably petrol and two types of hybrid – a mild-flavoured option and a plug-in. Considering it’s such a large car, the XC90 is easy to drive on road and is surprisingly economical.
Now in its fourth year, the Parkers New Car Awards 2021 reflect the views of Britain’s car-buying public, with winners decided by a combination of the site’s expert reviewers’ verdicts in thousands of miles of road testing and the purchasing habits of the website’s 2.3+ million users* actively involved in the buying process.
Keith Adams, Parkers.co.uk Editor, said: ‘Just because a car has seven seats, it doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be good to drive and full of kerbside appeal. All three of these cars measure up on that score and it’ll be tough choosing the best from such a diverse threesome. It’s great being able to partner this award with Closer and be able to help choose the perfect seven-seater for its readers.’
In addition, you can get involved by telling us what your favourite cars are on the shortlists for a chance to win a £50 Amazon gift voucher – we have five up for grabs.
