But the heiress, 33, has done just that. Posting to Instagram earlier this week, Paris revealed she will soon be the owner of 'the world's smallest Pomeranian puppy'.
According to US reports, the adorable pooch, from Betty's Teacup Yorkies in Canada, cost Paris a whopping $13,000 (around £8,000).
And in true Paris Hilton style, she named him Mr. Amazing. We actually agree with her though – he is amazing.
Mr. Amazing is a tiny two-and-a-half inches long and is only an inch tall. But despite this and the fact he weighs about two pounds, he still cost Paris a bomb.
Then again, this is Paris Hilton so it isn't really that much of a big deal to her.
Socialite Paris has spent the last few days making her followers insanely jealous with pictures of the cute pup, writing things like: "I love him! Cutest thing on Earth! Love my new baby!"
