Last month it appeared Kerry Katona had finally called time on her stormy marriage to George Kay. But, last week, the 34-year-old – who has 14-month-old daughter Dylan-Jorge with George, 35 – appeared to do a U-turn after it emerged George had moved back home. Now pals say the mum-of-five is in turmoil about the decision.

A source reveals: “Kerry is torn. She feels embarrassed after vowing she’d be strong and not take him back. When she’s talking to her friends, she questions her decision, but she wants to give things a go for the sake of the baby.”

Sources say twice-divorced Kerry’s closest friends fear the situation is a “ticking time bomb,” and they worry Kerry may not get the happy ever after she craves.

The insider says: “Kerry’s friends are worried that she’s shut herself away from them again. Kerry wants to believe things will turn out OK; she still wants the happy ending. But friends are concerned the marriage is too volatile to work.”
