According to reports, Paddy McGuinness stormed into a beauty salon after his wife claimed that a male member of staff sexually harassed her.

The Take Me Out presenter is said to have launched into a foul-mouthed rant, before shoving the man she had accused of muttering an "inappropriate sexual comment" under his breath.

The Sun reports that Christine believed he said that she gave him a "hard on".

However, the technician claims he was remarking on the "hard skin" on her feet.

A spokesman for Paddy, 41, told The Mirror that he had gone to the salon to remonstrate with the individual, saying he had reacted “strongly, as any husband would”.

They said: “Paddy’s wife Christine recently visited a salon for a pedicure during which the male attendant said something completely inappropriate and of a sexual nature to her.

"She was very upset by the statement and told Paddy who then went to the salon to remonstrate with the individual which he did strongly as any husband would.

"Neither the salon nor its employee has yet made any apology to Christine, and so she and Paddy have consulted their lawyers about what action they should take against both the individual and the salon."

Speaking with The Mirror, however, the salon owner said that Paddy’s rant was “threatening and inappropriate”.

He said: “I don’t like him at all. I think he’s obviously insecure too because his wife is amazing looking.

“She’s such a pretty woman and I bet he gets really jealous."
