Katie Hopkins has been openly lashing out at Gemma Collins following her exit from the I'm A Celeb 2014 jungle, branding her 'Big Bird' and making fun of her for being overweight.

But she took her torment to a whole new level today when she called upon ITV to electrocute the TOWIE star.

Taking to Twitter, she wrote: "ITV should hook Big Bird upside-down by the claws & dip her head in electrified solution."

She continued her rant in her column, insisting that Gemma is "the worst of reality excess".

Katie wrote scathingly: "Gemma has failed to meet this requirement. She is the worst of reality excess, mainly because she let us down and, most importantly, let herself down.

"Gemma just wasn’t up to the job and to all those of you working long shifts in jobs you hate, I am sorry.

"Because you are a 100 times the men and women she will ever be. (Not size-wise — obviously.) Gemma will be back on our screens soon, reminding us why she is a big girl with a big heart.

"I hope you remember to turn the sound down and make up your own narrative for this story."

Speaking as if she were Gemma herself, Katie finished: "I am a big bird so ungrateful for love, health and happiness, I couldn’t last three days without stuffing my face.

"I don’t deserve celebrity. Get me out of here."
