Days after Zayn Malik dramatically ‘quit’ the One Direction tour following reports he had cheated, bandit Louis Tomlinson has left fans shocked after revealing he has split from longterm girlfriend Eleanor Calder.
The band’s rep was forced to make a statement after photos emerged of Louis kissing a mystery woman in a pool in Thailand.
According to eyewitnesses Louis, 23, was kissing his ‘friend’ for 15 minutes whilst Zayn, 22, sat smoking a cigarette nearby.
A spokesperson for the band reeled a statement, saying: “Louis and Eleanor split up two weeks ago. They have not announced this as they wanted some privacy during this time.”
A friend of Louis told The Sun: “It’s been as good as over for a couple of weeks now, but they hadn’t formally put an end to it.
“The stress of touring and the lifestyle that brings had finally taken its toll on things.”
Meanwhile, bandmate Zayn is said to be ‘recuperating’ at his London him following claims he cheated on fiancee, Little Mix star Perrie Edwards.
