Olly Murs has reportedly joined celebrity dating app Raya in the hope of finding a new flame

Having had his recent fling with ex-I'm A Celebrity star Melanie Sykes reportedly come to an end, Olly Murs has turned to dating app Raya to help him find new love.

In reports by The Sun, the 33-year-old singer had to apply and undergo checks before being approved and given access to use the exclusive app.

Each application for the app is put before a panel of judges, who decide whether the applicant's social status suits the app - particularly considering how large their social media following is. Other celebrities who are known to have used the app previously are the likes of Kelly Osbourne and Danny Cipriani.

His new membership comes just weeks after Olly was romantically linked to presenter Melanie Sykes, with a source close to the star saying "It's a no brainer that Olly would be attracted to Mel - she's a beautiful woman with a fantastic body and she's a laugh. They were initially introduced through a mutual friend. They started texting for ages and some of the messages ended up getting quite saucy".

However, since, Mel has posted a hot snap to Instagram outlining that she is very much single - quashing all of the rumours of her relationship with Olly once and for all.

N'aww, we do hope Olly is successful in his new quest for love!
