Last week, Grimsby star Sacha Baron Cohen joked he is up to 31% gay, and now Essex singer Olly Murs has jokingly told The Sun he’s “probably the same [as Sacha], or maybe 20 per cent”.
“I've got a lot of gay friends I get on with really well. Everyone's got a bit of campness about them,” Olly said.
The Kiss Me singer split from girlfriend Francesca Thomas last September, and has been single since - but also admits he longs to be in a relationship.
“I don’t like being single, I prefer being in a relationship, so hopefully it won’t be for too long. I haven’t been on a date in ages though,” he admitted.
Since joking about his sexuality, Olly has taken to twitter to let his fans know they need to read the full story, saying: “Don't just read the headline you plonkers”.
