Never one to buy into fad diets, the sultry chef has spoken out about how she’s got her slimmest figure yet - without having to give up her favourite things.
‘No-one should be put on this earth to go on a diet’ Nigella told Good Housekeeping magazine.
She was also quick to dismiss those who use ‘Clean eating’ (i.e. cutting out processed foods) as an excuse for being smug, saying: ‘I wouldn’t want a life where I lived on chia seed pudding.’
Equally though, the famously sexy chef said ‘life is about balance,’ and admits she loves kale and is an ‘avocado obsessive.’
But just how then does the 55-year-old look so amazing at the moment?
‘I have never been on a diet to try and lose weight’ Nigella tells the magazine firmly.
‘I haven’t lost weight, but I’m possibly in better shape.’
Back in 2011, Nigella was criticised for looking a little larger than normal as she enjoyed the sun in Australia - being pictured in that infamous 'burkini.'
But now, in 2015, Nigella is looking more shapely than ever, showing off her infamous curves in recent snaps on her Instagram page.
In fact Nigella has become a devotee of a ‘slow form of yoga called Iyengar.’
According to the foodie, the practice not only makes her look great, it also makes her feel great - which is surely a combo we are all searching for in life.
Iyengar Yoga, named after and developed by B. K. S. Iyengar, is a form of Yoga that concentrates on detail, precision and alignment in the performance of posture and breath control.
The full interview with Nigella is out in the November issue of Good Housekeeping.
