In what could be the weirdest celebrity coupling ever, it's been reported that Nicole, 37, is dating 24-year-old Ed Sheeran.
According to sources, Nicole turned to Ed after using his music to get through the breakdown of her relationship with Lewis.
An insider told The Sun: "When she split from Lewis, she was heartbroken but ended up playing Ed's songs on a loop. They're extremely close. Nicole says he is the male version of her."
Ed has even taken former Pussycat Doll Nicole to his hometown of Suffolk, where they no doubt spent some time with friends and family.
Another friend said: "As far as he's concerned they were in the early stages of dating and he's been open about it with close friends and colleagues.
"She loved [visiting his hometown] because, as she put it, it was 'so real'. She kept saying that."
A shoulder to cry on is probably just what Nicole needs right now, after she was reportedly dropped by her record label in June.
The former X Factor judge's second solo album Big Fat Lie failed to set the charts alight, causing her and RCA Records to part ways.
