Fans slam Nicole Scherzinger as "shady" after she was pictured hanging out with Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, the ex-husband of Cheryl
It's been five years since the falling out between Nicole Scherzinger and Cheryl, who ignited the feud by describing their first meeting as "awkward".
And now, Nicole has been slammed as "shady" and "mischievous" after hanging out with Cheryl's ex-husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.
The Pussycat Dolls songstress, 39, was pictured with JB at an event in photos that the restaurateur uploaded to his Instagram account.
In comments which have now been deleted, fans branded the pair as "mischeivous" and "shady", with another person writing: "You are so disrespectful and just rude," going on to brand Nicole as "fake".
But other fans defended the stars, with one writing: "If Nicole spent her life avoiding every women's ex she would have to lock herself in her house. It's just a photo, chill out and stop being so childish."
However, in the second photo, fans were quick to comment on a look shared between Nicole and JB.
One wrote: "She looks at you with such passion, wish I could find a man that looked at me like that! So perfect for each other!"
They were also quick to comment on the fact that Jean-Bernard had "liked" a couple of comments saying that the two would be the "perfect couple", leading some to believe that he was trying to make things weird around Cheryl.
Someone commented: "This guy is loving every minute of this and knows exactly what he's doing."
But a source told Metro.co.uk that the two were just friends: "Nicole was out with a group of friends after filming X Factor. JB is a friend of a friend and was introduced to Nicole.
"That was the extent of their conversation. The photo was taken as Nicole was leaving."

If we're honest, we doubt Cheryl will care about this drama as she's super loved up with [Liam Payne] and their baby Bear!
Just in case you've been wondering what happened between the two X Factor judges, Cheryl made a comment in her 2012 autobiography about how Nicole had sang her song Promise This back to her when they first met, branding the exchange "awkward".
Nicole, who is in a relationship with 26-year-old tennis star Grigor Dimitrov, then told Fabulous magazine: "I'd like to give her the benefit of the doubt and hope that she would only have spoken highly of me because I've not spoken poorly of her."
But she later hit out, saying: "No. No. The story is I met her once at The X Factor and I wanted to make her feel good. I said I'd heard her song on the radio and I think I sang the words 'promise this'. But I really don't know any lyrics after that.
"And then that is made out to be something else and I don't understand why. I don't understand why anybody would do that. It's been blown out of proportion and it's silly."
