Taking to her Twitter account late Wednesday night, the mum-of-two wrote: 'Big day tomorrow #truth' followed by a picture of a broken heart; hinting that she may be finally confronting husband Tom Williams over their marriage troubles.

The former footballer landed himself in hot water when he didn't return home from a work trip abroad last month, later being pictured dancing with an unknown woman in a club.

And after several attempts to contact her husband, Nicola resorted to tweeting him asking when he would return to her and his children.

Since then, famous friends including Maria Fowler have been lending their support to the model, with Fowler retweeting Nicola's messages last night and reassuring her that 'we're all behind you.'

Nicola responded 'love you,' while Maria came back with an image and the words 'Rome wasn't built in a day.'
