Speaking at a swanky showbiz do in London, Nicola told a UK magazine that Pete was enjoying family life.
‘He's loving it. He's really, really enjoying it,’ she said. ‘He's a really happy guy and the baby is adorable he loves being a dad.’
41-year-old Pete welcomed baby daughter Amelia in January.
He proposed to new mum Emily the day before she went into labour.
Nicola said about Pete’s new fiancée: ‘She's one of those people that you meet who is far too perfect for words, which is really annoying but she really is.’
‘She's a training doctor and great with babies. So she's loving it and he's really excited.’
32-year-old Nicola added that Emily was nothing like her when it came to style and beauty.
‘She's got taste. She's not like me,’ she said. ‘She's not going to go in for all the hair and make-up and pink stuff.’
Nicola is married to footballer Tom Williams, 33, and the couple have two sons, 7-year-old Rocky and 3-year-old Strider.
