Nick Lachey and his wife Vanessa have announced they are expecting their third baby together.

Former 98 Degrees pop star Nick and his partner revealed their happy news in the cutest way by sharing a special picture with fans on Instagram.

In the snap, American singer Nick and Vanessa can be seen standing with their children Camden, three, and 18-month-old daughter Brooklyn Elisabeth on top of a box packed with their belongings outside their new house.

Vanessa captioned the image: "We got a new crib! Now we need a new CRIB!"

She added: "#LacheyPartyOf5… and Wookie."

There is also a red heart drawn around Vanessa’s stomach and underneath is written: "Newest Lachey arriving Spring 2017."

The thought of the couple having another child has clearly been on Vanessa’s mind as she recently spoke about expanding her family.

She told E! News: "The second has been different just in the sense that it’s nonstop, but I love that.

"It’s busy and it’s chaotic, but… it’s what I’ve wanted and it’s all I know right now and on top of all of that, I have the most amazing supportive husband.

"If we’re blessed with no. 3, it’s just going to be that much more exciting.

"If it happens, it happens."

Nick and Vanessa started dating in 2006 after he split from his ex-wife, singer Jessica Simpson.

Vanessa previously appeared in Nick’s band 98 Degrees’ music video for their song What’s Left of Me.

They split in 2009 but rekindled their romance four months later and went on to marry in 2011.
