Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon spent Thanksgiving with their twins Monroe and Moroccan last month, despite the fact that they split a year ago.
Speaking about the importance of remaining a family unit for their 4-year-old children, Nick told Ellen DeGeneres that they will always be his main priority.
"That's a family time and we'll always be family,” Cannon explained, adding:
"We make the kids the No. 1 priority. "It just is so important when, if a marriage does not work out and you have kids, to show them love and not have somebody talking badly about the other person. It's great.”
"It's all about unconditional love...They know Mommy and Daddy still love each other," he said, "but more importantly they love us.”
And the 35-year-old isn’t averse to meeting Mariah’s new love- billionaire boyfriend James Packer.
"I want to," Cannon insisted, "I think that would be cool...We've all talked about it and stuff it seems like it's cool".
But he isn’t quite ready to jump into anything serious following the breakdown of his 7-year-marriage to pop queen Mariah.
When probed on whether he has a girlfriend, the America's Got Talent host replied:
"I'm not ready for all that. "I'm being celibate I'm trying to work on myself. No sex right now.”
Good luck with that Nick!
