Walking around the Ideal Home Show, Katie Piper looked radiant. And we’re not surprised: this is Katie’s first public appearance since marrying Richard Sutton and she’s definitely got the post-wedding glow.
Katie is giving a series of talks at the event, called Confident at Christmas, and also spent some of the day signing copies of her book Start Your Day With Katie.
Last week, Katie, 32, confirmed she’d wed Richard in an intimate ceremony with her family and friends. “Second only to the birth of our daughter, marrying Richie has been one of the best days of my life and I am so happy to have shared it with my close friends and family,” Katie said of her wedding day.
Katie and Richard are parents to beautiful baby Belle and recently, Katie – who was the victim of a horrific acid attack in 2008 – revealed she was incredibly protective over her little girl.
“As any mum would, I go out of my way to protect my daughter and I do think I sometimes over worry things and I worry about being too anxious and not wanting her to pick up on that,” Katie said. “I think it’s hard but I just want to educate and inform her so she can make the best decisions for her life.
After all that Katie’s been through, it’s completely understandable.
