Ex-TOWIE star and new mum Amy Childs has admitted to having a few speed bumps in her first few weeks of motherhood...
Amy Childs gave birth to her first child last month - welcoming a little girl named Polly with her boyfriend Bradley Wright.
The ex-TOWIE star was in labour for a whopping 27 hours with little Polly, who was born on 30 April.
But Amy, 26, has admitted that she's having trouble with one particular aspect of new motherhood, which we're sure most mothers will relate to... Breastfeeding.
Although we're not sure that AS many new mums will have struggled for the same reason as Amy.
Amy has famously had a boob job at the age of 18, taking her natural AAs to a much bigger EE cup.
Last October, the reality star confessed that she regretted the surgery as it may have had an effect on her ability to breastfeed - and, sadly, it turns out that she was right.
Despite being told by doctors that she would be fine, she told OK! Magazine this week that she tried breastfeeding straight away: "But she wasn't latching on. I stayed in hospital the next day and they told me I needed nipple shields, as I have inverted nipples.
"She latched on but wasn't really getting anything from it, just a little colostrum. The milk wasn't coming."
She added that she did try breastfeeding baby Polly for the first week, but then thought, "'This isn’t going to happen'. The midwife said to do a little bit of bottle and breast, but Polly wasn't going near the breast. I gave it 150%, but it just didn't work for me."
Like many new mums, Amy had decided before giving birth that she did want to breastfeed her daughter. But sadly, it didn't work for her: "I wanted to breastfeed, but things don't always go to plan. But look at her! She's getting lots of milk."
Congratulations to the family!
