Natalie, 32, is reportedly engaged to boyfriend Marc Humphreys, a year after they started dating.

A source told The Sun: “Family and friends are thrilled for Natalie and have been buying gifts for them to celebrate.”

EastEnders star Natalie was previously engaged to Adam Cottrell, who she shares daughter Eliza, five, with, and he admitted to physically assaulting her twice during their four-year relationship.

Natalie, who plays Sonia Jackson in the BBC One soap, attempted to make their relationship work, but they split for good in 2013.

Afterwards, she said: “It was my decision. I’m really glad I gave him another chance.

“When kids are involved you almost have to. I can always say to Eliza, ‘Mummy tried, but it didn’t work out.’”

Before the end of their relationship, Adam was sentenced to 120 hours of community service.

Natalie has yet to comment on the news of her engagement.
