TOWIE favourite Nanny Pat, 75, heaped praise on former Coronation Street star Michelle, 27, but wasn’t as complimentary of 28-year-old Lauren.

Speaking to Closer last night at the Lipsy London love Michelle Keegan event, celebrating the launch of Michelle’s new clothing line, Nanny Pat insisted she was very proud of her future granddaughter-in-law.

When asked how she felt about grandson Mark and Michelle’s relationship, Pat replied: “Michelle is lovely, she’s beautiful. Well she’s better than the other one, ain’t she?”

While she didn’t confirm it, it’s pretty obvious who Pat was talking about…

Lauren and 27-year-old Mark were together on and off for 10 years, and they even got engaged while they were both appearing on The Only Way Is Essex.

But, despite their long relationship, Mark claims that Michelle is the first person he has even been in love with.

Speaking earlier this year, Mark said: “I’ve got now, for the first time in my life, what I’ve always wanted, and what every boy dreams of – affection in a relationship, love, best friend, a girl I fancy… everything rolled into one.”

Meanwhile, Michelle herself recently gushed about how her dreams have come true with Mark.

She said: “It’s weird because everything’s worked out according to plan. The plan was to meet someone and be happy by 27… and I am really happy, I wouldn’t change anything.”
