Nadine Coyle reveals she hasn’t spoken to Girls Aloud bandmates in six years

Irish singer Nadine Coyle confesses that she hasn’t spoken to Cheryl, Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts and Sarah Harding in such a long time.

Ahead of her stint in the Jungle, on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! – hitting our screens this Sunday – Nadine spoke candidly about her former bandmates.

"I spoke to Sarah around the time of Big Brother, but I haven’t seen or spoken to them since the end of Girls Aloud or just before I had my daughter," the 34-year-old began.

"So that’s about six years ago.

"Sarah more recently, at the start of Big Brother when she was very excited, but yeah I haven’t spoken to or seen any of them in about that long," she told The Mirror.

Nadine went on to say that she has "no idea" whether or not the other girls “would vote” for her to do some of the skin-crawling bushtucker trials.

Brought together in 2002, Girls Aloud was formed on ITV talent show Popstars, releasing mega hits such as Sound Of The Underground and Stay Another Day.

The group of five put up with one another for seven years, before taking a hiatus and reuniting in 2012 for their 10-year anniversary – promoting a new song (Something New), a greatest hit album and a tour.

With a Whole Lotta History, we can only speculate what these artists argued about – and how often – to cause such a wedge in friendship that they haven’t kept in contact since 2013.

Speaking about her and Cheryl’s relationship on Celebrity Juice last year, she said, "There was no fallout, no. There was just no friendship to begin with."

Ouch.
