Loose Women viewers have recently been scratching their heads over panellist Nadia Sawalha's wardrobe choices.
Many people have noticed that she has worn the same animal print blouse multiple times - but no-one could figure out why.
But she finally revealed what was going on in yesterday's episode.
It turns out it was an experiment on US, the viewers - we've been had!
She explained: "All this started when we have Judge Rinder on. He told us he's worn exactly the same outfit for every interview he's done on television and nobody's noticed. We were saying that would never happen for us. It seems so important what we wear. So we said let's see, do a little experiment."
It was the eighth appearance of the blouse on the show, and that of the choker she'd worn with it each time, which was actually a "strap off of a Karen Millen bag!"
Nadia went on: "We were going to do it for longer than this but because people were getting upset with us, because we do reveal the inner workings of everything, they couldn't understand why we weren't telling them what was going on with the shirt."
She described how the moment had come to tell all when someone private messaged her and asked if she was pregnant - as good a reason as any!
The Loose Women went on to describe their shock at the public's reaction, saying that a lot of viewers were getting very angry about the recurring shirt.
Ruth pointed out that perhaps this was because they are normally so open and honest on the show: "We share everything on the show and a lot of people realised something was going on but we weren't allowed to tell them. We were waiting to see if anyone noticed and how quickly people noticed."
They then read out some comments from viewers who weren't happy about the recurring top - a lady called Brenda had said: "Are they not paying Nadia enough? She's wearing the same animal print shirt - put it in the wash Nadia."
Another said: "Is Nadia sleeping in the studios? She's worn the same outfit for the last seven episodes!"
However, she said that she had been overwhelmed by her fans on Twitter who had leapt to defend her for wearing the same top - some even calling her a "sustainability goddess".
She went on: "Our stylist Jemma has been having panic attacks because all the other stylists at ITV have been asking her whether there are budget cuts, or whether I'm being a diva!
"I have loved it. It's been like going back to school uniform days were it doesn't matter, I just put it on, it's really comfortable. I'll be sad to see it go today!"
