Myleene Klass has had an emotional year, following her split from her former fiancé and the father of her two children, Graham Quinn.
The couple had been together for 11 years and had only just got married when Graham walked out, swiftly moving into a bachelor pad and leaving Myleenestruggling to come to terms with his sudden departure.
But, now, the presenter and musician says she feels stronger and more liberated than ever, thanks to her two children Ava, six, and three-year-old Hero.
Speaking with Women's Health magazine, the former Hear'Say singer said: "I’m at a very liberated point.
"I know it’s not a normal average point to be at, but then whose life is normal or average? I have my children, I have no clock ticking.
"I know I’m not financially bound to any man and every choice I make is my own. I feel very strong. I feel like Boudicca. I’m like this warrior!”
And it seems that a lot of Myleene's positivity is coming from the new man in her life, who has been helping her to smile again.
“I’ve learnt how to laugh and be fun and to not feel like just ‘Mum’ again.
"He taught me how to be me, because he had to learn who I was and he had no idea [I was famous].”
Myleene also opened up about her newfound body confidence, revealing that it is her desire to create a positive example for her daughters that has made her happier.
"I don’t want them to have a bad body image so I don’t want them to see me sitting there sucking in my stomach."
"I want them to see me eating well. I won’t use the word diet. I won’t even call a Diet Coke by its name – in my house it’s known as a DC.”
