One parent sent a request for money to buy ‘class presents’, including a Kindle.
But Myleene, who is mum to Ava, six, and three-year-old Hero, blasted them, sharing screen grabs on Instagram and labelling them ‘bonkers’.
The first email read: “Ladies, Jane and Hannah would prefer a class birthday gift for their daughters this year. Sarah would like a kindle and Lola a desk (very studious choices!!)”
Another parent, in a separate email, simply asked for cash donations for her child and reassured the recipients that she would be at the school gates every morning for collection.
She said: “From memory, about £10 seems to be a popular amount.”
Myleene captioned the emails: “FYI I have changed the names etc, but this landed in my inbox #bonkers”
The former Hear’Say singer then posted her hilarious reply to the group emails.
With the subject line ‘Let’s put the fun back into Bdays!’, Myleene wrote: “Dear all, For Ava’s birthday, she has requested a real, live Unicorn.
“I will be collecting Unicorn money via her bookbag, in the playground or at www.getwhatyouregivenandendthismadness.com.
“(Additionally I’d like a Ferrari and Leonardo DiCaprio, so by all means, do feel obligated to contribute to this too).
“If you don’t wish to, please don’t feel any pressure from the countless emails I intent to follow this up with and clog your inbox. Love and thanks!!”
We LOVE Myleene’s sassy reply, but something tells us she won’t be getting invited to the next coffee morning…
