Last month Myleene, 36, posted emails from mothers at her childrens’ schools which showed them asking for donations.

She blasted the emails, labelling the mothers ‘bonkers, and posted a very sarcastic reply.

Despite facing black lash from the mothers, the headmistress at the school and some of the public, Myleene stands by her actions.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain, the mum-of-two said: “There’s been so much said… For me, at the time I was in Nepal and that’s a real perspective builder.

“So when everything was really full on and I was just literally holding dying babies and then when you see that and you’re looking at the mother’s eyes and you think, ‘right, I’m here with Save the Children’ you want to save the children and not deal with that.”

While some of the mothers at the school suggested Myleene was looking for publicity, claiming that the emails were over a year old when she posted them, Myleene doesn’t regret her actions.

When asked by Ben Shephard, she replied: “Do you live by regrets Ben? I don’t live by regrets.”

Following the shaming, one parent said: "These are old class emails from a year ago. We have all noticed that the paparazzi are no longer outside the school taking her picture like they used to be every morning.

“Perhaps she needed to get some attention. The press have certainly all been back here today.”
