The 35-year-old took to Twitter to send the muggers an angry message, writing:

'To the person who mugged my 67 year old mum and my sister. I hope you get hit by a bus and die. Slowly.’

Her tweet was met by instant concern, with presenter Kate Thornton replying: 'Is your mum okay? So sorry to hear that'.

However Myleene did not divulge any further information, indicating that it may now be a police matter.

Unfortunately this is not the first time Myleene has suffered such an incident.

In 2005, the mother-of-two was attacked in Bermondsey, when a group of youngsters attempted to take her picture.
