Lorpu Kollie, 16, was travelling with her baby son Smith when she claimed that the child - who was tied on to her back in a sling - spoke to her and told her to put him down.

She told the Daily Observer that, just as soon as she put the baby down, the two-month-old grew instantaneously into a full grown man.

Apparently Smith was unhappy that his grandmother had been continually insulting him and decided to grow up in response.

"He even threatened to bring incense and garlic into the home," the teenage mother claimed.

COULD THIS BE THE MOST INAPPROPRIATELY HILARIOUS DRAWING A CHILD HAS EVER DONE?

“This was my first time seeing a two-month-old baby talking so clearly like a five year old child.

"[He] told me that he was going back home because my mother had threatened to bring incense into the house. He said [she] told him she had the power to drive away any witch craft."

Once his 'transformation' was complete, the baby-turned-man apparently ran into the bush, and hasn’t been seen since.

Smith’s father, Watson Freeman, said his son’s disappearance was "incredible and mind-blowing".

Many people have expressed their disbelief over the story, with one person insisting that "someone killed the child and fabricated the story to over it up".

However several have backed Lorpu's claims, including a woman claiming to be her cousin, who said: "The story is true… tis is not the first of its kind for such a thing to happen."
