She was rumoured to have reignited her romance with model David Gandy in July, after the pair were spotted holding hands as they enjoyed a night out in Fulham.
And whilst Mollie King remains tight-lipped about the former lovebirds romantic status, she insists the pair have remained close since their 2012 split.
She says: “Everything’s fine with me and David. It’s not awkward at all when we bump into each other. Everytime we meet up, we have a good old catch up. He’s a lovely guy.”
And whilst the 28-year old - who has teamed up with Galaxy on behalf of the global fund - insists she’s in no rush to have children, she says she’s been getting plenty of ‘mummy practice’ from her bandmates Una Healy, Rochelle Humes and Frankie Sandford. Una is mum to Aoife Bell, two, Rochelle is mum to Alaia-Mai, one and Frankie is mum to Parker, ten-months.
She laughs: “With the girls already having babies, it does provide the perfect ‘mummy practice’. We're on tour and it's like a travelling crèche! I’ve already changed all the nappies and I help out with the babies backstage too. I think the girls are amazing at striking the balance between having a good career and being a good mother. It’s amazing.
And whilst the Saturdays – who formed in 2008 – sparked speculation their current Greatest Hits tour signalled the end for the band, Mollie insists they haven’t split and are just going to time out to enjoy solo projects.
She says: “Were releasing a greatest hits but we're not splitting up. We just want to go off and do our separate projects. I want to work more on fashion. I'd love to be the next Victoria Beckham. She's a popstar turned designer, which is the ultimate dream!
