The Mindy Project creator and star Mindy Kaling has given birth to her first child - and revealed her super stylish name.
Huge congratulations are in order for Mindy Kaling, who has given birth to a baby girl!
The 38-year-old actress reportedly gave birth to her daughter last Friday (15), according to E! News.
Mindy, who has chosen not to reveal who the father of her baby is, has given her baby a beautiful and classy name - Katherine.

Mindy's pregnancy was accidentally first revealed in July - but not by Mindy herself, by her Wrinkle In Time co-star Oprah Winfrey.

Mindy wasn’t angry, however - instead seeing the funny side as she told Ellen DeGeneres on her show in October: "If anyone is going to announce big news about your private life, Oprah Winfrey is the person.
"You can’t complain that much about it. And you also can’t be like, 'Hey, Oprah, zip it,' because she’s almost like a religious figure."

Kaling has refused to identify the father of her child since confirming her pregnancy, with sources telling People magazine that not even her closest friends know.
She was single at the time of falling pregnant and is notoriously private about her love life. In the past, she’s been linked to her The Office co-star B.J. Novak, who she dated between 2005-2007 on and off, and writer Benjamin Nugent, who she was linked to between 2008-2012.
Speaking on the Today show, she said: "I'd like to be the fun mom, I know I'm gonna be the dorky mom. So if I can be kind of fun too, I think that would be nice."
