Michelle Keegan was set to tie the knot in a fairy-tale wedding to fiancé Mark Wright last weekend. But as the pair settle into married life, sources say Michelle is still haunted by her new husband’s playboy past – and is eager to ditch Essex for America so they can both start afresh and try to make it big Stateside.

Last week, the former Coronation Street star told Closer about her hopes of making it in the US, revealing: “I would like to go to Hollywood. Maybe in the future.”
And sources say Michelle feels leaving Mark’s past loves behind is adding to the appeal of a change of scene.

A source reveals: “Michelle is well aware of Mark’s womanising past and, while she trusts him 100 per cent, she hates being in Essex and running into girls he’s dated. She hates the idea of seeing Lauren out and about and wants them to move to the US to start a new chapter and escape his past. They both love the idea of kickstarting their careers in America and moving to somewhere that’s completely neutral.”
